TANK CLEANING INFORMATION
As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain clean, tasty, safe water for all our members, the Board of the Michele Mutual Water Company has contracted with a qualified contractor to clean and sanitize the insides of our three (3) water storage tanks.
The shutdown will begin at 8:00 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, June 19th.
The tanks will be emptied as part of the cleaning effort, so *ALL WATER WILL BE SHUT OFF FOR THE DURATION OF THE CLEANING.*
Please plan accordingly – we recommend filling a bucket or two for flushing toilets, and a bottle or three for drinking/coffee/etc. – before 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, 6/19/2024.
Immediately following the cleaning, our Water System Operator will take test samples to confirm no contaminants were introduced into the system. Until those tests are successfully passed, a *BOIL WATER* period will be in effect. (We expect the *Boil Water* period to last for 1-3 days.) Here are the boil notices in English and Spanish
Thank you for your cooperation. Again, if there are any questions, reach out to one of the board members.
